Amir Hussain Lone lost his both his arms in an accident in 1997 when he was just 8 years old. His father sold his land for Amir’s treatment. In spite of getting frustrated and depending on others, Amir decided something else. His passion for cricket and love for the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar inspired him to play this sport.

Born and brought up in a small village of Jammu and Kashmir, Amir has always been a keen observer of cricket. Whatever bad things happened in his life, convinced him to achieve something in life. He has a god gifted talent to play cricket so well.

Amir has developed his own way of playing the sport. Though he has struggled a lot, he tries very hard. He learnt so many cricketing techniques to bat and bowl. He holds his bat between his shoulders and chin to play the shorts. He bowls from his legs and still manages a good bowling action.
