Why Indian Media Is Biased Against Hindutva

First of all I want to clarify that Hindutva does not have any ideology of fascism nor does it work to surpass the fundamental rights of minorities. Hindutva is also neither communal nor it wants to divide India. There are many people who misunderstood Hindutva because of secular parties and secular media. They pick small issues and make them bigger to show their secular image in front of public. Such pity thinkers are none other than pseudo seculars. Let me explain you why they are like this.

Pseudo secular political parties such as Samajwadi Party (SP), Tamil Maanila Katchi (TMK), Trinamool Congress (TMC) and of course Congress always speak against the majority community. They do so simply to create sympathy in the heart of minorities and make them feel secure. This vote bank politics has done no good to India and will never do in future.

Secular Media:

Similar to secular political parties, media also wakes up when it comes to minorities. If majority community faces the same problem, media has nothing to attract people. Its good example was seen in the “Ghar Wapsi” (Return Home) programme in Agra conducted by the Dharam Jagran Samiti (DJS) in Uttar Pradesh, wherein Muslims have been converted back to Hinduism. All media channels made it the prime news. However when Muslim and Christian missionaries convert Hindus into their respective religions, media has no time to cover that news.

Indian society and Anti-Hindu media are reluctant to accept the truth. Even they are biased toward majority community. Many minority organizations and media people act like Hindu nationalist non-governmental organizations are at par to terrorist groups. In reality there is a big difference among Hindu nationalist non-governmental organizations like Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bajrang Dal, and terrorist groups like Taliban and Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The mainstream media should learn how to equality treat every national issue before pointing fingers on such non-violence Hindu organizations. Volunteers of Hindutva are modern minded and liberal. It’s not justifiable to compare them with those who are living in dark ages and spreading terrorism.

Since Indian National Congress (INC) ruled India for many years after independence, their policy remained to appease minorities and create their vote bank. Many laws have been made to appease the minority communities like special minority laws and reservations. This lead to slow growth rate in Indian economy and made our competitor nations like China develop far beyond.

Pseudo secularism is still widespread in Indian politics that lures paid media to speak against Hindutva. But slowly and gradually social media and other advanced sources of information are educating citizens to know the reality behind this pseudo secularism. This has made the life of corrupt politicians hard to survive in a civilized society.
